This Tokoname white clay tea pot has a simple side handle design in natural creme color combined with its ease of use and versatility. The entire tea pot including built-in strainer is made of white clay.
The fine clay mesh is designed to filter smaller leaves such as fukamushi sencha, or deep steamed green tea.
The tea pot hold 280ml. It is suited for casual use for steeping green tea as well as beginners practice tea pot for tea ceremony.
The tea pot is made by Takasuke kiln in Japan.
