Our green tea harvest starts with careful observation of the health and vigor our tea plants.  Working with the natural rhythm of the plants and soil, we determine the best timing for harvest.  

Our Premium Green Tea is harvested by hand carefully plucking young shoots which contains high level of antioxidants.  

Harvested leaves are then hand-processed in a small batch to remove the moisture evenly from the leaves.

Organically Grown at our farm in Hawaii.

Preparation Tips:

Mauna Kea Premium Green Tea can be prepared easily in a tea pot or a gaiwan for best result.

Preparing using a Tea pot or a Gaiwan

1. Boil water and pour boiling water in a tea cups and warm the cups.
2. Let the water cool either by leaving it in cups or by pouring it into a cooling pot.
3. Place Mauna Kea Premium Green Tea into your warmed tea pot.
4. Pour hot water from tea cups or the cooling pot into the tea pot and let it sit for 60 seconds.
5. Empty the tea pot by distributing tea evenly to the cups.
