Our Kamaaina Green Tea is harvested from young leaves at our peak harvesting time to bring out good balanced flavor.  Our unique pan-fire processing retains greenness in this very green tea and add pan-fire aroma.  Brew hot to bring out refreshing aroma of Kama'aina green tea.

Preparation Tips:

Kama'aina Hawaiian Green Tea can be prepared easily in a tea pot or a gaiwan for best result.

Preparing using a Tea pot or a Gaiwan

1. Boil water and cool the water to desired temperature.
2. Warm a tea pot or gaiwan and cups.
3. Place Mauna Kea Kamaaina Hawaiian Style Green Tea into your warmed tea pot.
4. Pour hot water into the tea pot and let it sit for 60-120 seconds.
5. Pour brewed tea into cups.  Drain completely

Our First Flush Premium Green Tea is the first harvest of the year, delicate yet rich in flavor. Light vegetal aroma. Harvested by hand carefully plucking young shoots which contains high level of antioxidants.

Harvested leaves are then hand-processed in a small batch to remove the moisture evenly from the leaves.
